Atmosphere is probably the most underrated white lyricist out there. He just released a new album entitled When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold which blew my mind. I like his past work but this album is a benchmark that all real lyricists need to take notes from. He raps about real life situations such as missing his deceased father, living on the edge of poverty, working as a waiter and about his upbringing. They are ideas anyone can relate to unlike what is heard in mainstream rap that focuses on flashy cars, jewelry, money, drug dealing and girls.
