Funny prank videos usually take a lot of setup and this video is just that. The prankers inserted a TV screen above a gas pump in Burbank, California. That TV screen then broadcast what looked like a real newscast with a man who would ask questions to those pumping the gas. The mock newscast even had a scrolling ticker on the bottom. The video was made for a show or online broadcast so there are cameras set up behind the gas pump and directly next to the TV screen for candid camera shots of the victims.
The first one is hilarious. The newscaster reports a robbery description of the exact stuff that the lady pumping gas is wearing and driving. Does this make your top ten list of funny prank videos? This was a great idea and I think it needs to be used more often. I could watch a whole series of these funny prank videos. What makes this video so great is the newscaster seems so professional. The questions he asks the victims are on point. Just watch the couple who are questioned.
