Social networking sites on the Internet are great ways to launch your own uncut music video, and show the world your musical talents. You can make uncut music video of your performance pretty easily with a digital camcorder or camera, and upload them to sites like youtube or myspace, tell your friends about them, and they can use the viral power of these social networking sites to spread the news of your talent, whether you are a songwriter, musician, or both. More than one struggling musician has launched an uncut music video and been recognized by talent scouts in the industry.
When you shoot your video, make sure you make it in a quiet, attractive environment. You don't need a studio to shoot it in, but taking account of the acoustics of a room will make a difference in your sound's quality. Recording it in a place with ceramic tile floors and little else to dampen some of the sounds your instrument creates will make for a muddier sounding video. If you can't provide a good environment for the music video, ask a friend or family member who has a better environment for capturing sound. |
