An Uncut Music Video Offers Raw, Vivid Performances |

If you love watching live music performances, then you know that watching an uncut music video is probably the next best thing to seeing your favorite performers live on stage. There's just something special about watching an uncut music video that shows a band like, say, the Ramones, or one of the other punk bands unleashing their furious attack on a stage. It's got an immediacy and an energy that just can't compare with a more polished, edited presentation, no matter how skillful or well-edited. Personally, I totally prefer an uncut music video to anything else because it's the most like watching a live performance. I've seen plenty of concert films that were shot with multiple cameras and fluidly edited to create a dazzling overall effect, but my personal preference is to see an uncut music video because it shows in an unchanged, unvarnished way, what actually occurred on the stage that night. It's absolutely the best substitute if you can't be there at the club or performing venue that night. I dont' care if the camera is shaky or the sound isn't perfect, an uncut music video is my favorite way to see my favorite performers. |
